front - chippings bordering 2 rockeries either side of front path, planted all new with lilac trees and an eclectic mixture of plants. dividing fence built from recycled timber. evergreen shrubs grown from cuttings planted in perimeter gaps
back garden - sunken circular feature in yorkshire stone transported 20m and reinstalled. benches added. lawn transplanted from 10m away
side garden - salvaged yorkshire stone used to make path and steps. original wild bluebells and shrubs
5. bushcraft debris shelter design improvement
version A - roof poles at the back of the shelter rest on the ground creating an area of dead space inside the shelter where the roof is too low to allow much useful function
version B - some light work adding a horizontal support at the back of the shelter to lift the roof poles 50cm off the ground would create better useable space inside the shelter at the roof's lowest point. the resulting gap between roof poles and the ground could be blocked with leaves, rocks, branches etc
